  • Navigation stops at the start and end of the presentation.
  • Skipped slides are passed over.
  • Each keypress moves one slide. Holding the key down doesn’t advance through more slides.
  • Space always means Next in Present, even after you click a rack button.
  • These keys don’t act while you’re typing in a field, such as the message composer.

The counter beside NEXT shows where you are, for example “4 / 25”. It counts only slides that aren’t skipped.

Before going live, the same keys choose the slide the service will start on, marked Starts here. Nothing is shown on the audience screens until you go live.

  • Click any slide in the slide list to show it, with the normal transition. This works for skipped slides too.
  • Click a section in the song map to jump to it.
  • Type a slide number, then press Return. A preview of that slide appears over the Program monitor while you type, and nothing changes on screen until you press Return. Press Delete to remove a digit, or Esc to cancel. You can also choose Presentation › Go to Slide….

Slide numbers match the slide list, including skipped slides.

Most presenter clickers work without any setup, including Logitech, Kensington and Targus remotes.

While live, the Live bar in Design and Library has Prev and Next buttons. The keyboard navigation keys work only in Present, so arrow keys keep their usual meaning while you edit.

When a sermon keeps returning to one main passage, you can mark it as the anchor passage. Right-click its group in Design and choose Set as Anchor Passage.

While live, when you’ve moved away from the anchor passage to show a supporting verse, press R (Return to Anchor) to go straight back to where you left the anchor. The slide list marks the slide to return to with Return here, and the status bar names the anchor passage.
